25cm Plush of the lovable Moon monkey!

Macaque Stuffie, from concept to realization, took about a year and a half. From the concept art to speaking to a manufacturer. He went through about 7 samples till was ready for sale.
The plush comes with an accessory and has wired arms and tail to make it poseable.
The button eye a key factor to the character.
The plush concept first started as a sticker series of 10, which is now 30+ stickers! Including keychains, phone charms, pen, and many more!

V1
This was the starting stage of the plush. The manufacturer was trying to get the body type and how the plush will eventually be shaped more 3D.
The scarf was eventually going to be removable, but I decided later to keep it attached. Since the option to remove it left an odd gap in the fabric.
V2
With the reference, it was difficult to try to get the character's sharp hair correct. Since we were going from 2D to 3D, there was some hassle with getting the shape.
The accessory was too flat and skinny, so we spoke of buffing it up.

Miscommunication was the issue with this sample. I had shown examples of hair bangs/sideburns, but the plushes I referenced were furry.
The accessory got improved, but the white puffs at the end felt too much and less like the concept.
V4
The plush embroidery was added for the first time on this sample. Final fabrics were picked from the swatches.
Bangs were too long, and ears were disproportionate. Feet didn’t have the blue around them, and accessory color was inverted.
V5
Ears still didn’t feel right. They needed to be rounder. Button eye was missing. Accessory is finalized!
V6
Ears are finalized, Eye scar is added, but without the button eye. The heart on the chest was moved up to show better

Wires in the arm were added, and side burns were sewn in to match the concept better.
